Her journey began at Johns Hopkins, where she aced her undergraduate studies, graduating with time to spare. But instead of diving straight into medical school, adventure called. A six-month medical mission to Asia turned into five transformative years, filled with volunteer work in earthquake, tsunami, and flood-ravaged communities. It was in this crucible of compassion that Dr. Kharod found her calling, not just as a healer, but as an architect of confidence.
While serving in Asia, she earned her medical degree from Pramukh Swami Medical College, India, adding another layer of cultural richness to her already multifaceted persona. Back in the States, she honed her skills with a residency in Internal Medicine at Henry Ford Hospital and a fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at SUNY Buffalo. But the allure of the South proved irresistible, drawing her to the vibrant medical scene of Metro Atlanta for seven years.
Finally, the pull of family and the promise of sun-kissed Savannah beckoned. Dr. Kharod traded the city skyline for the coastal charm of Richmond Hill, where she now lives with her husband and son. When she's not crafting personalized beauty plans for her patients, you'll find her diving into a good book, gliding through the water on her bike, or letting the rhythm of music wash over her. But there's one sacred ritual: Saturdays and Sundays are for football, no exceptions!

Ms. Pooja is a Registered nurse who not only works with family physician practices and special needs adolescents but specializes in developing and maintaining luxury skin care. Throughout her journey in healthcare she has gained experiences working with children with mental health disorders, practicing in city healthcare systems and also working with outpatient private practices.
Born in Rahway, New Jersey, Pooja graduated with first from Jefferson University with her Bachelors in Health Science then from Gwynedd Mercy University with her Bachelors in Nursing. Even though her experiences led her to have a very unique background with a variety of specialties and skills she has always had a passion for premium skincare and luxury aesthetics.
With a deep passion for helping people feel better and lead happier lives, Pooja loves coming into work every day, knowing she will be making a positive difference. Pooja strives to provide the most caring approach possible for her patients.
Ms. Pooja grew up right outside of Philadelphia, in a small South Jersey town named Sicklerville, but she has lived in Savannah a few different times throughout her life. Her love for southern hospitality and comfort food has brought her to the south to stay and make an impact on the premium skincare of Savannah and Pooler. Her love for skincare only compares to her love for clean and healthy food. Pooja prioritizes making lifestyle changes to better each individuals aesthetic.
